Hummingbirds have long been seen as messengers.

In many cultures, their appearance is believed to carry love, encouragement, or a quiet hello from ancestors and loved ones who are no longer physically here.

While painting this piece, I kept thinking about that idea.

In the artwork, a woman rests with a gentle smile as three hummingbirds hover around her in a vibrant green space. They feel almost like little sparks of life and movement, reminders that guidance and love often arrive in subtle ways.

The phrase “I Am Guided by Love” felt like the natural message for this piece.

Because love doesn’t disappear. It shifts, transforms, and continues to support us in ways we may not always see.

Sometimes through intuition.

Sometimes through signs in nature.

And sometimes through the quiet presence of those who walked before us.

Hummingbirds themselves are symbols of resilience and joy. Despite their tiny size, they carry incredible strength and energy.

To me, this painting is a reminder that we are never walking through life alone.
