PROJECT DETAILS:
One of my first projects while working with On-Stage was to design product instructions for a lighting stand. They were so pleased with the results that it became the standard for the company's product assembly instructions.
No one likes receiving a new product with complicated instructions that take hours to assemble and so the mission was to simplify this process by creating visually simple and comprehensive drawings that anyone could follow. I did this by physically assembling the products, taking photos of each step along the way, and then simplifying these photos into digital art (line art). The first image below shows the Before and After!
I also redesigned the company's Parts Diagrams; these are charts that show the different parts to each product.
