Ya'll remember slumber parties, waking up in pajamas' at your cousin's or besties house?!

Well we are going to skip the slumber part and get down to the fun part! Ladies, be sure to come in your cutest and comfiest pj's ready to have fun with some like minded ladies. We will have a waffle bar, music, games and more!

This breakfast is going to be surrounded by beautiful art; hosted inside of one of Connecticut's largest gallery (Hartford Artspace Gallery). Waffle bar and beverages to start your morning off lovely. Games and music to set the mood right. AND the best part is gathering with lovely ladies to chit chat and network with.

You will have plenty of time to take a gander at all the gallery art. Yes, art is for sale but no pressure.

About Che' La'Mora

Che’La’Mora is Hartford’s own, where she works as a creative and as Licensed Clinician. She is a native to the city and an active part in the art activism in and around the Greater Hartford area. Che’La’Mora studied Illustration at Central CT State University, gaining her BA in Art/Illustration and Spanish. She also has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central CT State University. She is the owner of Purple Halo where the focus is on holistic health and wellness through an therapeutic approach to art, life-coaching and food. She is the lead chef of Purple Halo Food which is a branch of the Purple Halo business. She is the CEO of Che’La’Mora Cosmetics where she started the (Black Lipz Matter Collection) back in 2020. She manages and owns, Fashion/Design line “Che’La’Mora”. She is also the author of five self-published books about relationships. 

She is a creative artist, utilizing a plethora of talents to communicate with the world around her. Her love for creating spills over into painting, cooking, dancing, poetry, modeling, writing, while leaving room to express herself in new and innovative ways as they come.  

 

Che’La’Mora allows art to showcase who she really is, with no restrictions. She truly believes she can share her heart and soul with the world through her art, and she wouldn’t chose it any other way. One thing she loves about art is that it touches spirits; people of any age, gender, language or culture. 

 

Che’ is Black, from Jamaican and Cuban decent; her background is much of her inspiration. She illustrates love, human struggle, and diverse culture. She is inspired by her sons, friends, and family. She is also inspired by the shapes and colors of the environment, people in the community and fellow artists. Her work is also influenced by pop art, abstract art, figural work, and portraiture.  She loves using color and textures to convey emotion, evoke feelings, and capture the viewers’ eye in an unique way. Overall, a lifelong study of relationships. Signature elements she incorporates Into her works are; abstract elements infused into portraits like buttons, textures like layered paper on wood and words hand written by the artist.
